I'm praying to the Great Old Ones that this is going to be amazing. There have been a couple good Lovecraftian games the last few years. Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth was nice, if a little buggy. And Gamecube's Eternal Darkness had a lot of nice madness and Lovecraftian variations. It's enough to give me fairly high hopes for this coming game.
I share in your hope grim blogger. I remember playing Alone in the Dark years ago and feeling that it was a half decent attempt to bring Lovecraft to the world of gaming. Weren't they meant to be making a remake of Alone in the Dark?
